Amazing selection of East and West coast oysters, always fresh and delicious. Quite pricy so expect to spend a lot, a bigger group helps split the cost- but worth the cost for the high quality. Great spot to splurge on those special occasions. They have happy hour deals but always call before going as it can change often. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, they have skills to identify the type of oysters from the shells and make recommendations based on oyster region. I noticed that some reviews on here mention the appetizers or steak weren't as good as other places in the city, and yes that is true, apps are just average and very small for the price (except for the Clam Chowder which is excellent). But this place is not called 'Rodney's Steakhouse Pub' like any other random pub place in the city. It literally says "Rodney's Oysters" on the door. This is a temple for raw oysters, people...!! The restaurant displays its Canadian East coast origin story all over the walls, it's a unique place with a lot of character and history and a dedication for high quality oysters. Don't come here for the apps or anything else, just get the oysters and you won't find better quality in the city, guaranteed. I am very cautious about seafood in general due to past bad experiences, but Rodney's is an easy trust. Will keep coming back here for many more visits!

One of the all time legendary places in Toronto dining. Best oysters in the city with a vibe that feels like you’re in a dock house in a fishing town. Newly added happy hour menu is very very approachable for a weekly spot. 2 oysters, 5 wine and beer, 10 small plates to share. Runs 2-6 Mon-Fri. Sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders, very cool people who know what they’re doing. One of my favourite spots in the whole city!

We loved the dining experience at the oysters bar. Amazing service thanks to Woody, Iris, and Chris. Fresh oysters were prepared in front of you, and they were all so delicious. We didn't make any reservations and the front staff was so great and got our seating request within 5 min. We will definitely come back again!

The best sea food lunch we had in town. I really recommend the oysters and the scallops ceviche. Fresh and tasty. The desserts made my day, chocolate mousse was perfection. Our server was Juan Felipe and he gave us the best recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant, good atmosphere and great service.

This restaurant is amazing! We had an excellent server who was very well versed with the menu. The staff was all very friendly, and the atmosphere was very lively and welcoming. The oysters and clams were perfect with a lot of different sauces to try with them. The lobster roll and fries were delicious and soooo fresh! This restaurant is a seafood lovers paradise. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for seafood and nice wines. Will definitely be going back to Toronto CA. just for this restaurant.
